On holidays, I miss my family a lot...I wish we all lived closer so we could celebrate these special days together. But, I am thankful for my little family, and for a celebratory day together today. I am increasingly aware of the importance of being thankful for each day we have together. We celebrated the Resurrection at church this morning, and discussed the Easter story throughout the day. The kids had fun searching the house for colorful eggs this afternoon, and then we had an outing to see the movie Horton Hears A Who. We finished with a yummy Easter dinner this evening.
I thank the Lord for my precious family, and for giving us the privilege of teaching these kids of the reality of the empty tomb.
