Christmas Eve service is done.
The Christmas story has been read.
The children are all nestled snug in their beds.
The tree is all ready.
The stockings are filled.
Outside, the night is silent and still.
Shhhhhhhhhh....you might wake them up! (Oh Lord, may they sleep past dawn!)

What an amazing thing it must be to go through those traditions as parents... and seeing the faces of your beautiful children in the morning with their excitment and joy... Merry Christmas to you, Scott and your beautiful babies!!!

What time did they wake up? The little one here was was up at 6:45am.
Yes....it is such a privilege to share in the excitement of Christmas with little ones. A privilege and a challenge to help them to focus on the reality of what Christmas is all about!
Praise the Lord, they ALL slept until 7:10 a.m.!
